1. Local Digital Signal Processing
All microphone telemetry and audio analysis execute entirely on your local device via standard W3C browser APIs (getUserMedia, AudioContext, and AnalyserNode). Audio signals are converted into ephemeral mathematical matrices (such as RMS energy, peak dBFS, and FFT frequency bins) directly in your device's volatile memory (RAM).
Zero Audio Uploads: AudioSolver operates as a client-side static application. No audio streams, raw PCM buffers, voiceprints, or acoustic measurements are ever transmitted to remote servers, cloud storage, or external APIs.
2. Ephemeral Voice Replay Lifecycle
Diagnostic tools that feature audio playback (such as the Hear Yourself mic recorder) record a short sample (up to 5 seconds) strictly within an in-memory AudioBuffer.
This buffer exists solely to allow immediate listening verification. The recording is instantly discarded when you record a new sample, reset the tool, navigate to another page, or close the browser tab. It is never written to persistent local storage (such as localStorage or IndexedDB) or uploaded over the network.
Local Diagnostic Certificates: When you complete an evaluation or generate a diagnostic certificate, all score calculation and graphic rendering occur 100% locally via HTML5 <canvas>. No test telemetry, report cards, or certificate images are ever transmitted to or stored on remote servers.
3. Microphone Permission Management
Microphone hardware access is initiated strictly upon your explicit user action (such as clicking “Start Mic Test”). The browser prompts for permission according to its native security sandbox. You retain full control to revoke microphone access at any time via your browser's site settings or lock icon in the address bar.
4. Privacy-First Telemetry & Analytics
We use lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics to monitor aggregate traffic trends, popular diagnostic tools, and technical error rates. No audio data, voiceprints, or raw audio buffers are ever analyzed or collected.
- No Audio Logging: Zero audio samples or acoustic measurements are collected by analytics.
- No Personal Identifiers: We do not collect names, personal emails, or behavioral profiling data.
- Regulatory Compliance: Designed to align with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

6. Infrastructure & Security
AudioSolver is delivered over encrypted HTTPS connections via secure Content Delivery Networks (CDNs). Standard transient edge access logs (such as request timestamps and HTTP status codes) are utilized strictly for DDoS mitigation and infrastructure availability without user profiling.
